  20. This questionable item regarding which modem is a daughterboard /single
  21. board type has ran its course.
  22. If you wil call USR Customer Service they will tell you that a modem with
  23. a serial number starting with 000955 IS the single board type.  ALL other
  24. serial numbers starting with ANYTHING but 000955 has a Daughterboard
  25. starting with the 16.8 and including the 21.6 (which a daughterboard was
  26. sent and you installed it) and it you went one step further with either
  27. this original 16.8 or Terbo and got the 28.8 daughterboard it is self
  28. evident what you have.   IF you bought the USR V.Everything 33.6 the
  29. serial number will start with 00095.
  30. If you do not want to take my word for it just call USR for verification. 
  31. I ran the whole routine from the 16.8 on up and now have the solid board
  32. V.34+
